Terms of Service

The service

PlugNPortal hosts a guest WiFi sign-in page for your UniFi network. You need your own UniFi equipment and a Ubiquiti account. PlugNPortal isn't affiliated with Ubiquiti.

Your account and API key

You're responsible for your account and for what you do with it. You give us a UniFi API key so we can let your guests online and, when you ask, set up guest WiFi. Only add devices you own or have the owner's permission to change.

Acceptable use

Don't use your portal to deceive people, impersonate another business, collect information you have no right to, or break the law. We can suspend a portal that does.

Guest information

You decide what your portal collects and you're responsible for how you use it, including getting consent and honoring opt-outs and data requests. We process guest information on your behalf to provide the service, and we don't sell it.

Fees

Plans are billed monthly per the pricing on our website, including a charge for each additional gateway, plus applicable tax. Trials end automatically unless you cancel first. Stripe's Link service sells and collects payment for your subscription, so Link appears on your receipts and card statement.

Selling WiFi to your guests

If you sell WiFi vouchers, your guests pay you through your own Stripe account. You're the seller, and you're responsible for refunds, disputes and any tax on those sales. PlugNPortal never holds that money and takes no cut.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but it depends on third parties including Ubiquiti's cloud service, and we can't promise it will be uninterrupted. If it's down, new guests may not be able to get online.

Ending the service

You can delete your account at any time. We then delete your data, with backups clearing within 30 days.
